Highland Princess was inspired by a book I read recently, titled "Maiden of Iverness." In the book, the heroine is reluctant to ascend to the throne and office of Queen of the Highlands, but in the end, her love for her country and her people overcomes all other obstacles and she takes her place as the rightful Queen. I saw this image and decided to make my own version of the heroine.
