Summoning

Deep in the forest,
Surrounded by trees
Where strange sounds are carried
Upon the night breeze
Across a dark pool
Stumbled did I
A great fairy pool
Upon which I did spy.
Out of the darkness
Into the mist
Came a great beauty
With ruby red lips.
Her hair dark as night
Her brows raven winged
And I was a witness
To this strange happening.
All of my days
I\'ll remember this sight
Upon which I stumbled
In the darkest of night
Believe me or not
That is your choice
But I will not silence
My fanatic voice.
With grace and with charm
She floated above
\"Dreaming,\" thought I
As I fell in love.
With this fairy of old
With this thing of lore
As I crouched waiting
Longing for more.
Alas, this mere mortal
With tainted soul
Is not worthy
Her sweet flesh to hold.
She flitted away
On the night breeze
And I sat in wonder
Giddy and pleased.
Not since that night
Have I again found the pool
From which sprang true love
To capture this fool.

Summoning was inspired by, ta da, Tinkerbell!! LoL. No, I do not own Tinkerbell or Disney or blah blah blah for you insane people who have such qualms about copyright issues. I was INSPIRED by Tinkerbell. In the beginning of the movie, it talks about how each time a baby laughs, a fairy is born. Apparently, this fairy just magically springs to life. And so, I decided, why not make my fairy spring forth from the water? No, she does not have wings. Who\'s to say that fairies have wings anyway? Have you ever talked to one? So, my water fairy springs to life and maybe someone was there to witness it. Maybe a mortal man who will forever be touched by the thing he witnessed. Maybe he instantly fell in love (or lust for you cynics) and goes back to his village to tell everyone about this fairy. And maybe no one believes him, but, he still remembers and still tells his story. It\'s a nice idea anyway. Maybe his fairy will bless him someday. Maybe he\'ll live his life always wondering where she is and loving her.
